What to know before your visit

What should I wear?

Wear something loose and comfortable. We often work on areas like the arms, legs, and abdomen, but your treatment can always be adjusted based on what you’re wearing—you’ll never feel exposed or uncomfortable.

What can I expect during my first visit?

Your first session begins with a conversation. We’ll go through your health history, current concerns, and goals so I can fully understand what’s going on in your body. From there, your treatment is thoughtfully tailored to you—unrushed, one-on-one, and designed to support both immediate relief and long-term balance.

Does acupuncture hurt?

Most people feel little to no discomfort. You may notice a light sensation as the needles are inserted, followed by a deep sense of relaxation. Many patients leave feeling calm, grounded, and reset.

What does a treatment include?

Each session is personalized and may include a combination of acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, trigger point therapy, and Reiki. The approach is always based on what your body needs that day.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Try to eat a light meal beforehand and stay hydrated. Avoid coming in on an empty stomach. Beyond that, there’s nothing you need to do—just arrive as you are.

How will I feel after my treatment?

Most people feel deeply relaxed, clear, and more at ease in their body. You may also feel slightly tired or notice subtle shifts over the next 24–48 hours as your body continues to respond to the treatment.

How often should I come in?

This depends on your goals and what you’re coming in for. Some patients come weekly for more consistent support, while others space sessions out for maintenance. We’ll discuss a plan that feels realistic and supportive for you
